Doris E. Jones, M.Ed, is a graduate of the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff, where she received both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees. She has 31 years of experience in public school education. A former English teacher, she has also served as a Behavior Interventionist, a qualified Mental Health Specialist, and a certified Life Coach. She has assisted as a consultant with the Jack Jones Juvenile Detention Center in Pine Bluff, Arkansas, and Monroe Community College in Rochester, New York.

Many young people find themselves in the revolving door of the juvenile justice system. Doris acknowledged the need these children had to recognize their strengths and cultivate positive ways to pursue their passions – and from this, DELegacy was born. Doris is passionate about providing people the tools needed to cultivate relationships and hone their soft skills, resulting in increased productivity within their given setting. 

As a wife, the mother of an adult daughter, and “Mama Jones” to many, Doris holds fast to the notion that each person possesses the potential to be a positive contributor to society.  She therefore works diligently to ensure those relying on her know-how complete their DE Legacy encounter with the necessary tools to lead lives of purpose.
